love your 'bobbins' great idea
Sometimes we spend so much time and energy looking for tools for a new skill we want to learn, only to find we don't like it, when we really should look at what we already have ...... in the kitchen drawer!

Yes, I learned from a past mistake. :)
I too like your bobbins. For my first project I used the old fashioned woooden clothes pins (they don't open with a spring). Keep up the good work.
